Description 🔉

A nice late WW1 07 bayonet made by Sanderson and Newbould. Left ricasso crown over 1907 over 9.18 [September 1918] over the makers mark Sanderson. Right ricasso arrow over 3 inspection marks over the bend test mark. The bayonet is not unit marked. The scabbard has the top mount marked by Remington USA. The bottom chape is marked with a British acceptance mark = Broad Arrow. On the back of the scabbard on the leather is impressed with a diamond with the letter J = USA Company Jewell.
